Let the Redeemed Say So
Scripture
Psalm 107:2 (ESV)
"Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom he has redeemed from trouble."
Devotion
Words don’t just describe reality — they shape it.
Psalm 107:2 says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from trouble.”
This isn’t just a poetic line — it’s a spiritual command. If God has brought you out of addiction, despair, fear, or sin — say so. Your voice was never meant to stay silent about your salvation.
Your tongue becomes a tool of agreement. You either partner with heaven or echo the lies of the enemy. You can keep rehearsing your past, your pain, and your problems — or you can speak the truth of your redemption, even when you’re still walking it out.
🟠 Romans 10:10 (ESV) — “For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.”
🟠 2 Corinthians 4:13 (ESV) — “Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, ‘I believed, and so I spoke,’ we also believe, and so we also speak.”
🟠 Joel 3:10 (ESV) — “Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, ‘I am a warrior.’”
When we declare the truth of what God has done, we shift the atmosphere around us and anchor our identity in Christ. Redemption isn’t just something to believe — it’s something to proclaim.
Don’t let your voice rehearse bondage.
Let it declare breakthrough.
Let the redeemed say so.
