The Resurrection of a Nation

Weekly Prayer Focus

“He is Risen—and so are we.”
Jesus’ resurrection wasn’t just the defeat of death—it was the beginning of a new Kingdom reality. A reality that changes lives, cities, and even nations.

Scriptures

Romans 8:11 (ESV)

“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you,
he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies
through his Spirit who dwells in you.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV)

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Devotion

The resurrection wasn’t confined to the tomb.
It wasn’t just a private miracle—it was a world-changing moment.
It didn’t just transform individual hearts—it marked the beginning of God restoring all things.

Because Jesus rose, we don’t just carry hope for ourselves—we carry hope for entire communities.

The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead now lives in us. And with that resurrection power, we are sent to speak life into the darkest places—to declare hope in broken cities, freedom over strongholds, and healing over division.

The promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 reminds us: when God’s people pray, nations shift.
Healing begins not with government reform, but with humble repentance and unified intercession.

Today we stand in the gap for our cities:
Brookville, Dayton, Farmersville, New Lebanon, Eaton, Trotwood, Huber Heights, Middletown, Clayton, Phillipsburg, West Milton, and beyond.

We call on the name of the Lord—the only name strong enough to save a generation.

We declare that resurrection power is greater than cultural decline.
We proclaim that Jesus is still Lord over America, and we pray that the Gospel would run freely again through our streets.

Prayer Focus

  • Thank Jesus for the victory of the resurrection that brings life to every dead place.

  • Intercede for every community connected to Harvest—that God would raise up revival from house to house and city to city.

  • Pray for our government leaders on every level: that they would encounter truth, repentance, and wisdom.

  • Ask the Lord to raise up laborers in this hour to preach, pray, and disciple like never before.

  • Cry out for a national awakening where the cross is lifted up and Christ is glorified.

Declaration

The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me.
I speak resurrection over my home, my city, and my nation.
Greater Dayton, Ohio belongs to Jesus.
America belongs to Jesus.
Let revival rise—because Jesus is alive, and the tomb is still empty!
