The Resurrected Life – Walking in the Power of the Spirit

“He is Risen—and so are we.”

This week, we move from the empty tomb into Spirit-filled living. The resurrection was not just a moment in history—it’s the power by which we now live.
Jesus didn’t just conquer death—He ushered in a new way to live: by the Spirit.
We’re not bound by sin, shame, or striving. We walk by grace, by faith, and by the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead.

Romans 8:2 (NLT) – “And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.”

"For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives."

Devotion

The tomb is empty—but the story isn’t over.
Resurrection wasn’t the end of Jesus’ mission—it was the beginning of ours.

When we say “He is risen,” we’re also declaring something about ourselves:
We are no longer dead in sin.
We are no longer bound by the past.
We are raised with Him to live new lives—free, Spirit-led, and full of purpose.

Too many believers celebrate the resurrection but still live like they’re in the grave.
But the Gospel says we don’t just believe in resurrection—we walk in it.

Today, we pray to fully step into that newness.
No more going back. No more looking down.
We’ve been raised—now let’s rise.

• Thank Jesus for His resurrection and for raising you to new life.

• Ask the Holy Spirit to help you walk in freedom from old patterns and dead things.

• Pray for others at Harvest (and in your family) to experience real transformation this week.

• Intercede for new believers or prodigals who need resurrection power to hit their lives.

Declaration

I have been raised with Christ.
I don’t live in the grave anymore.
I walk in newness of life.
Today, I rise in the power of the Spirit—He is risen, and so am I.
