The Call to Conquer

Scripture:
“The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.”
— Revelation 3:21 (ESV)

Devotion:
Jesus is not just calling the Church to be awake—He’s calling us to be victorious. In Revelation 3:21, the promise isn’t simply eternal life—it’s to reign with Christ. That word “conquer” (Greek: nikaō) means to overcome, to prevail, to subdue. It implies battle. Resistance. Victory.

Far too many believers are content just to not perish—but Jesus is calling us to overcome. To rise above compromise. To shake off lukewarm faith. To overcome sin, fear, this world’s system, and the schemes of the enemy.

He’s knocking—not just to get in, but to call us up.

You are not called to simply survive—you are called to conquer. You may feel weak, tired, or unqualified, but the promise of Revelation 3:8 reminds us: “You have little power, yet you have kept My word and not denied My name.” Heaven doesn’t measure your strength in numbers, size, or skill—but in your faithfulness.

Let this be a week where we answer the call—not just to be informed, but transformed. Not just to endure, but to overcome.

Prayer Focus:
Father, awaken our spirits and ignite a victorious mindset. We reject passive, lukewarm Christianity and embrace the conquering life You’ve called us to. We repent of apathy, fear, and compromise. Make us those who overcome, by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. In Jesus’ name—Amen.
