Prayer for Revival in Our Nation

Prayer for Revival in Our Nation

Yesterday, at the funeral of Charlie Kirk, one word rang louder than any other: revival. It wasn’t only on the lips of pastors and friends — it was spoken by state officials, and even by the President and Vice President of the United States. The cry for revival rose beyond politics, beyond denominations, beyond gatherings. It was the cry of a nation in need of God.

Scripture gives us the path forward:

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (ESV)

Revival does not begin in government halls but in the house of God. Yet when even the highest offices of the land echo the word revival, it is a sign that God is stirring something deep.

Prayer Focus (Declarations of Faith):

  • We declare revival is breaking out across our nation, and no power of darkness can stop it.

  • We believe God is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh — sons and daughters are prophesying, and the next generation is being awakened.

  • We decree that Harvest Revival Center will be a house of fire, a place where awakening takes root, and from which revival flows to our region and beyond.

  • We proclaim that America shall be saved — our cities, campuses, and communities will encounter the living Christ in undeniable ways.

  • We thank God that the cry for revival is not fading — it is growing louder, and we will be part of the answer in prayer, in obedience, and in boldness.

Closing Prayer:
Lord, we stand on Your Word in 2 Chronicles 7:14. We humble ourselves, we turn from our wicked ways, and we seek Your face. Hear us from heaven. Forgive us. Heal our land. Let true revival sweep across this nation — not manufactured, not political, but birthed by Your Spirit. May the cry that rose from leaders and citizens alike at Charlie’s funeral not fade into silence, but become the spark of a national awakening. And Lord, let us at Harvest be part of this move. In Jesus’ name, amen.
